Barry’s quest to become the best, led him to travel 3,500 miles to Columbus Ohio, USA. There, he worked on numerous supercars with world renowned detailer Todd Cooperider, owner of Esoteric Auto Detail using new specialised products which have revolutionised the industry.
Barry Polding, the owner of Top Car Detailing is the only North West Detailer accredited by both Kamikaze and Zirconite. Barry is the only UK detailer to have passed the Esoteric specialist detailer course run by world renowned detailer Todd Cooperider in Ohio, USA.
Barry is the only UK based car detailer to have achieved the Esoteric Elite Detailer Status. This accreditation puts Barry in a league of his own compared to other UK detailers.

With having a passion for car detailing I decided to travel over 3500 miles to work with one of the best detailers in the world Mr Todd Cooperider, who is based in Columbus Ohio USA. It was great working with Todd as we both have the same passion and understanding for car detailing, methods and products for attaining the ultimate finish on your car’s paintwork. Whilst there I also attained the Esoteric Elite Detailing Academy Certificate.
Todd is an affiliate of the Ferrari Owners Club in the USA and has worked on many Ferraris and other Exotic cars including the LaFerrari. Top Car Detailing have also had the honour of sponsoring and presenting the area group Class Award at the Northern Ferrari Day in conjunction with the Ferrari Owners Club in Cheshire. Whilst in America I was able to work with Todd on numerous cars and compare new specialised coatings that are quite new in the market place today.
